The Big “I do”
Weddings made for you.
Less cheesy cliches (Unless of course you love them, then we can keep them too)
Celebrating Weddings
A wedding ceremony is your moment to gather your favourite people, declare your love, and hope nobody faints, cries too loudly, or forgets the rings. I’m here to make sure the whole thing feels meaningful, joyful, and only chaotic in the fun ways.
I take time to get to know you both — the big stories, the tiny details, and the bits your friends will absolutely bring up in their speeches — and turn all of that into a ceremony that sounds like you, not like something copied from a dusty wedding manual.
Want readings or poems? I’ll help you pick ones that won’t make your guests check their watches. Want rituals? We can tie knots, blend sand, warm rings, sip whisky from a quaich, or jump a broom like you’re starring in a very romantic Olympic event.
And because you’re choosing a celebrant, you can get married anywhere: a beach, a barn, a boat, your garden, a forest, or somewhere completely unexpected. If it feels right for you, it’s perfectNeed a dash of inspiration, voila!
Handfasting ceremony
Hand-fasting is a symbolic unity ritual in which a couple stand face to face as their hands are tied together - hence the phrase, tying the knot! As your hands are bound, you can recite special words that express your commitment to one another.
Hand-fasting rituals are associated with Pagan ceremonies, but are now often seen in secular, spiritual, and even some Christian ceremonies
Sand Ceremony
The unity sand ceremony, a variation of the unity candle ceremony, is a tradition full of symbolism. Two people take sand from their individual vessels and combine the grains into one. The act represents the joining of two individuals and the creation of a new union and family. The joined vessel symbolises the marriage of both partner’s hopes, dreams and values.

Blessing Of The Rings
This beautiful ritual involves your wedding rings being passed around your chosen guests and warmed with their love, blessings and positive energy. By the time the rings make it on to the fingers of the couple, they will contain something very powerful and very precious - the love and blessings of their friends and family.
Jumping The Broom
Jumping the Broom symbolically represents sweeping away your single lives and jumping into your married future.
The wooden handle represents the strength of your commitment, the straw represents family, and the ribbons hold you together. The act itself represent love, togetherness, loyalty and respect – all key ingredients for the recipe of a successful marriage!
